Each week, our Music Directors review new music submissions sent to KXUA. They review both digital and physical submissions, and maintain our Rotation playlist.
Our Rotation consists of approx. 80 albums -- 25 Heavy, 25 Medium, and 25 Light. These categories are defined by frequency. An album in heavy will get more air play than an album in light. Each week, the MDs add anywhere from 10-20 albums to keep our Rotation up to date with the freshest finds. Follow our Spotify playlist!
Our current automation program (what plays when no DJ is on air) mostly plays our current Rotation as well as Archival Hits. We are working to add automated, genre specific playlists to air when we aren't live. Check out our schedule and tune in for new music every week!
